Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Arusha/Tanzania
Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport will be met by one of our staff members. After greeting and meeting services he will escort you to your accommodation in Arusha (approximately 60 km) ready for the safari tomorrow.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Have breakfast in Arusha before departing for Tarangire National Park with a game drive en-route to your lodge, which lies hidden amidst the ancient baobabs and grasslands of the National Park. Tarangire Sopa Lodge was built to blend harmoniously with its surroundings, and no fences around the lodge allows for up-close wildlife viewing. Approximately journey, 2h30, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Embark on morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire National Park, a highly dense bush-land dominated by the valley of the Tarangire River and attracting abundant wildlife. It’s likely that you’ll encounter elephants and brightly colored birds who love the dry savannah, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch en-route. Game drive until evening when you check-in at your lodge. Your accommodation is the Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge. Opened in 2015 and nestled on the rim of the Great African Rift Valley, this rustic-luxury lodge has stunning views over Lake Manyara. 50 classic suites all have a fireplace, bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower, and private balcony. Outside there’s a large rim-flow and fire pit. As a lovely little extra, afternoon tea is included, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast we drive and descend some 610 meters into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game viewing drive with picnic lunch at a private scenic site (hippo pool). Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world, has an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, Impala, Thompson gazelle, rhino, golden and black jackal, zebra, cheetah, and spotted hyena freely roam on the crater floor plans.
Unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are few places on Earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor. Spend the night a few minutes from Ngorongoro.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park
Depart with a picnic lunch and enter the Serengeti National Park. Hope to spot the Big Five as well as cheetah, giraffe, hippo, and warthog. After a day’s game drive, relax in the lounge loft or take a refreshing dip in the pool. Approximately journey time 4h30, dinner and overnight at Ole-Serai Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 7: Full day in Serengeti National Park
If you rise early you can take a morning game drive through the park to see the nocturnal predators returning from their nightly hunt and very active animals waking up in the early morning light. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds, you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, birds, and other species.
We enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives on the vast Serengeti plains. In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti National Park landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. The park is one that can never disappoint. One is spoiled by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve. Depending on wildlife movement, we can have lunch at the camp or enjoy picnic lunch packets. Dinner and overnight at Ole-Serai Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park
First day of flexible game drive through Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Melia Serengeti Lodge.

Day 10: Serengeti National Park – Arusha
Today you will enjoy game drive as you drive to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha. You can enjoy a guided tour of Arusha town for shopping before departure.

Day 11: Arusha – Fly back home
You can choose the program of today in respect to your flight time. You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
